I Partnered with Stellenbosch University, one of South Africa's top tertiary institutions to develop a comprehensive brand identity system that would last for the next 100 years +. I was tasked with improving current branding as well as developing a new ceremonial emblem design, as well as developing many of the co-brands and sub-brands of the university as well as creating grid systems and brand manuals. I also developed a custom typeface. The project held great significance as this is my hometown where I grew up, so it was extra special to be involved, and it was great working with the team and having discussions with management about the best ways forward. This is the most complex project I have done to date, and showing all the aspects I was involved in is very diffocult. Here are just a few images to give you an idea of the bigger picture.
